Frequently Asked Questions

Do you charge extra for nutritional guidance and a diet plan?

Yes. Each plan is tailored to the individual. I will be working with each client to make sure that they are getting the nutrients they need in their diet, as well as accommodating to each clients own dietary restrictions.

What types of home fitness equipment do you recommend?

I recommend at least having some resistance bands, a few sets of barbells, a yoga mat, and a medicine ball. I have linked some that I love on my recommendations page. If you can't get all of that, at least one set of barbells will get you started.

How are you different from a regular gym trainer?

I am going to be meeting with you mostly virtually unless you are local to where I am based. However, we will not be working on just your fitness. We will be working on your overall health and well being. It not only takes place with becoming physically fit, but taking on your mental and emotional goals as well. I am not a therapist by any means. We will just be adding in exercises to help you goals all align in the mind and body.

Will I have to go on a diet?

Short answer, no. Anything that restricts calories or makes you cut anything including but not limited to carbs, fats, or proteins is not something I recommend. Yes, there are some people that have dietary restrictions because of their health and allergies. However, I will always say carbs are your friend. You just have to learn to eat the right ones.
